Third grade got to participate in a virtual field trip to the Indiana State Fairgrounds Pig Farm. They got to learn about bio security, pig health, and the life cycle of the pigs!
Macy from Farm Bureau visited K-8th grade STEM classes this week.

CHS Parent Teacher Conferences
Carrollton High School teachers would like to invite and encourage all parents to attend parent/teacher conferences. These conferences provide an opportunity for us to connect as partners in your student’s education to discuss their progress, celebrate successes and address any areas of growth.
Parent teacher conference times are scheduled on the following dates/times:
Wednesday, October 7, 2026 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Thursday, October 8, 2026 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Please call the high school office at 217-942-6913 or email your student’s teacher(s) to schedule a date and time for your conference(s).
If you can not attend during these times, please contact the school office or your student’s teacher(s) to make an alternative arrangement.
There will be an optional college application/ financial aid informational meeting for senior parents new to the financial aid process that is tentatively scheduled to be presented by a representative of ISAC (Illinois Student Assistance Commission), at 6:00 pm in the CHS Library during parent conferences on Wednesday, October 7th. If you can’t make the meeting, there is information on financial aid for college on the CHS Guidance Office Website: https://sites.google.com/c-hawks.org/chsguidance/home
