Mrs. Schroeder - Biography
by Courtney Schroeder

I can not belive that I am beginning my sixth year of teaching and coaching at Carrollton High School; how the time flies!
During my time in the Carrollton School District I have taught a variety of classes: Accounting, Keyboarding, Advanced Keyboarding, Computer Concepts, Consumer Education, Business & Technology Concepts, Finance, Business Law, and 5th/6th grade Keyboarding. Three of the classes that I teach are partnered with Lewis & Clark Community College. Students have the option to receive college credit for taking Keyboarding, Advanced Keyboardig, and/or Computer Concepts in high school!
During the past six years I have also had the privilege to be part of several amazing athletic teams and student organizations. Since the 2003-2004 school year I have acted as the head Girl's Track & Field coach. This coaching position has been a great experience and a way for me to share my love of the sport with others! This year I am also assistant Volleyball coach; I have learned so much about the sport and the athletes. I am currently serving as sponsor of Future Business Leaders of America. FBLA is a great way for students to be part of the business world, attend conferences, and meet other students from the state and national levels. Last, but not least, I am co-sponsor of the Class of 2009. Prom time is quickly approaching so we are frantically trying to get it all together - theme, funds, decorations, etc.!
